The 8255 I/O card is a programmable peripheral interface for PC/XT, PC/AT, 80386, 80486 or compatible. The interface card contains 8254 chip and 8255 chips, the 8254 chip provides programmable interval timer/counter function, and the 8255 chips provide programmable input/output functions.

  • 2 x 8255 (OKI-M82C55A-2) - 1 x 8254 (CP82C54)

  • 6 I/O Ports - 8 lines each

  • Programmable l/O control functions

  • Up to 48 I/O lines.  TTL - 5V

  • Three independent 16 bits counter.

  • Connection with IDC-40-pin

  • Optionally available :DB-37 adapter (ADAP37).
